PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Abacus have considerable experience in project management, often as a follow-on from a successful bid process.

 

Project management is complex but Abacus are able to efficiently manage the process, co-ordinating with all stakeholders in the project, such as civil engineers, operations, mechanical and electrical engineering, finance, local authorities and others.

 

If Abacus have been involved in the bid process they are very often in a strong position to lead the project phase in the initial stages, until such time as the Client is in a position to take over the project and fully develop the team needed. This service can save a great deal of time and potentially running behind schedule.

 

Abacus have previously led projects in a number of different fields such as oilfield logistics, logistics centre design, construction and implementation, container terminal construction and implementation in the UK, UAE and Iraq.
